Warsaw School of Economics, Building G (main building), Lecture room 236

Why Economic Freedom Matters? The question will answer Mr. Jack Spencer – Vice President of The Heritage Foundation – American think-tank, whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government and individual freedom. Internationally, especially in Poland, it is well-known as a publisher of Index of Economic Freedom, which measures a country’s freedom in terms of property rights and freedom from government regulations.

As the Index has documented over the past 22 years, lasting prosperity is a result of a persistent commitment to limited government, strong private property rights, openness to global trade and financial flows, and sensible regulation. Together, these interrelated factors have been proven to empower the individual and induce dynamic entrepreneurial activity.

Why Economic Freedom Matters? Come and see.
